Lead Weights
Lead sash weights are supplied with an “eye” fitted at on end for fixing the sash cord. Lead sash weights are manufactured to the required weight and are supplied loose. Although other styles are available the following styles are most popular;
50mm round & 50 X 37mm
Spiral Balances
Spring balances are generally used when there are no cavities for lead weights. (please note that simplex kits can not be used with spiral balances)
Sash Cord
Waxed cotton sash cord is the traditional sash cord for hanging lead weights. We would recommend using 8mm diameter as this will support sashes & weights up to 110lbs
